Fabian Baron

The inimitable creative director is showing for the first time in Paris. After stints as DA of Italian Vogue, Interview, Harper’s Bazaar, Baron is now art director of French Vogue. And when not art directing some of the world’s top fashion houses – Balenciaga, Burberry and Calvin Klein to name a few – or designing furniture for Capellini, Baron is also an accomplished artist. His drawings are graphic and stylish; seek out a selection of his personal work at Colette until 30 Dec. To mark the event, Baron has produced a limited edition of three candles with the master perfumer Alberto Morillas, the nose behind iconic scent CK One. As is to be expected, the packaging is slick and the heady scent will no doubt permeate every fashionable establishment worthy of casa Vogue.
