Every fashion week, Didier Ludot, the vintage specialist, gives a young designer the opportunity to display his work among those of the masters of haute couture sold in his famous Palais-Royal boutique. Last year was Zac Posen, and this year the honor goes to Alexis Mabille, stylist for the label Impasse 13 and Treizeor. Mabille, at just 28 years of age, has spent much of his professional career designing at Dior and is known as the king of the bow-tie. His signature couture accessory figures predominately in much of his prêt-a-porter collections, all of which carry a unisex tone that blend the dandy with the rock star. Felix Farrington, antiques and vintage expert, will lend his talents to the scenic display.
