London Hotel NYC

After garnering a half-page spot in Vanity Fair, this chic and incredibly luxe hotel is now expanding to accommodate the city’s suits: interior designer David Collins has created three meeting spaces known as The Park on the second floor. Looking for a large conference space with views of the city? Opt for the Green Room with walls of hand-sewn flora silk paper in sage green and red silk embroidery paired with cherry bespoke leather chairs; the similarly styled St. James Room, meanwhile, is perfect for a sit down dinner. But it’s the Hyde Room that Collins chose to evoke a sense of escapism, channeling the parks of London using reflective gold leaf wallpaper with a hand-painted, 360-degree panoramic chinoiserie scene of an English landscape. Up next are 10 specialty suites including a 2,200 square foot duplex—the highest hotel room in New York overlooking Central Park.
