The latest haute spot to hit the South Hamptons is Do the Dune. But I suggest leaving the bikinis at home, because this is one beach boîte where what you wear is très important!
Nightlife impresarios Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss (Marquee, Boutique, and many others nocturnal haunts) have teamed up on the nautical nightclub. Alexandra Richards, Amanda Hearst, and Adam Brody have already partied there, along with supermodels Selita Ebanks, Yfke Sturm, and Jessica White, to name just a few. Kevin Connolly and Nicky Hilton may have called it quits, but they're both expected to show up this month, Connolly to toast his Hamptons Magazine cover. And let's not forget Missy Elliott, who will be celebrating her own birthday at Dune on June 30th. Interior designers Steve Lewis and Chris Sheffeild of SLDesign created the space’s yacht-club-meets-night-club look, replete with images of gorgeous jet setters boating on navy-and-white nautical chart walls.
