In July there will be a three-day extravaganza in Rome, celebrating Valentinos 45th year as a designer. Festivities will include a couture show for 1,200 people, a black-tie dinner for 700 and an exhibit at the ancient sacrificial altar Ara Pacis that will showcase Valentino's most important creations from the past four and a half decades.
