In the heart of Manhattan, just beyond the wrought iron courtyard gates of The New York Palace Hotel's historic Villard Mansion lies New York's newest treasure, Gilt.Patrick Jouin has designed Gilt in a series of sumptuous, historic rooms in The New York Palace Hotel. Dominated by a lilac, oyster-shaped structure and a white Corian bar, the restaurant resembles something from a futuristic film set. Awe-inspiring dishes by chef Christopher Lee are served in the theatrical interiors, which are beautifully complemented by Jouin's custom-made furniture.
