A new Sisley advertisement has surfaced on the internet which has caused nothing less than a frenzy in the fashion world. The advertisement that is supposed to represent the Bennetton brand Sisley has been circulating the internet featuring two glamorous models snorting two straps of a white mini-dress as if they were lines of cocaine. Bennetton, the Italian clothing brand that is renowned for producing controversial ad campaigns has released a statement claiming that the ad is in fact “completely fake”. Sisley released an official statement on their website regarding the mock advertisement stating: “One of these images shows some girls ’sniffing a vest.’ The allusion to drugs and alcohol is more than clear. We would like to clearly state that the Sisley brand (and the Benetton company) has nothing to do with these images and therefore we refuse to be linked with them.” The company is currently in the process of taking legal
