Pershing Lounge This chic cream and cranberry bar designed by Andrée Putman is a refined haute hot spot done in a sort of Empire minimalist style. Reminiscent of Hotel costes but not quite so over the top. Excellent place to sip bubbly. The courtyard with a massive vertical garden is one of the best in Paris.

Hotel Amour eschews the superluxe approach going in soley for style. The ground floor neobrasserie and bar, decked with mismatched mid century chairs, draws a young and beaufil cowd. Hipsters pack the back garden all summer long. A project of nighlife scion Thierry Costes, Baron upstart André, and Emmanuel Delavenne.

The Experimental Cocktail Club opened a few weeks ago, rue Saint Sauveur.
As the name implies, this is a cocktail bar. And a very cool one : cosy armchairs, lounge music and DJ’s, friendly team behind the bar… The place is already a success, and can be overcrowded after eleven. This sexy cool bar is run by three hip young French men. Sleek, young, edgy and beautiful could describe both the décor (done by a New Yorker) and the clientele. Live DJs, friendly staff, and affordable (€10) cocktails keep it real. The minimalist-neo-baroque setting with black chesterfields and a zinc bar make for the perfect backdrop to the Champagne and vodka cocktails. I particularly like the Experimental 1, but so far I haven't had a bad cocktail here!
