Outstanding bouquet of flowers at YSL funeral

Karl Lagerfeld, who was not among the likes of Hubert de Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alber Elbaz, John Galliano, Sonia Rykiel, Stefano Pilati, Christian Lacroix and Vivienne Westwood at the emotional funeral of Yves Saint Laurent earlier today, sent this outstanding bouquet of flowers to substitute for his presence.

Chasing Harry Winston

Lauren Weisberger, author of The Devil Wears Prada, has done it again. I have just finished reading her new novel Chasing Harry Winston that concerns three best friends who make a pact to change their lives. One schemes to find a hubby who will present her with one of Mr. Winston’s fabulous diamond rings. Here's a window display inspired by the cover image of the stiletto heel adorned with three diamond engagement rings.

Bergdorf Goodman has created a window display to honor the iconic blue Manolo Blahnik pump that sits in Carries closet.

Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid’s wacky Opera House design was inspired by the dunes of Dubai. It will seat 2,500 and give Sydney’s famous landmark some stiff competition.

French & Fashionable

One of my favourite things in life, apart from lattee's, is the Vogue Paris girls. To me, they bring a new definition of style and completely upstage the WASP's at Vogue. They live in the capital city of fashion, work at a fashion magazine that actually features *gasp* models.

Villa Feltrinelli

This is definitely a place I would love to visit one day. Villa Feltrinelli sits on the shores of Lake Garda in the beautiful village of Gargnano in Northern Italy. Dating back to 1892 the villa was meticulously restored in 1997 and is now offered to travellers as a luxury hotel.

Plastic water bottles just aren't cool anymore, what with the environment falling apart and landfills filling up at breakneck speed. Included are two houses owned by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, style stars like Christian Louboutin, Gilles Mendel, Jacopo Etro, Catherine Malandrino, Patrick Cox, Betsey Johnson, and Diane von Furstenberg, among others.

Yachtpartners

Yacht owners often are too busy to use their boats for more than a few weeks each year. Another thing to consider, certainly, is the cost of ownership. Yikes. That's the theory behind Luxury Yacht Partners of N.Y. Purchase fractional ownership, rent a yacht for a day or sell part or all of your yacht.
